Mediation

Philip was trained by The Centre for Dispute Resolution (“CEDR”) and accredited by CEDR as a mediator in October 2007.

Philip is committed to providing the services of an experienced mediator cost effectively and proportionately. The normal procedure when appointed is to provide a quote based on 4 hours preparation time and a day’s mediation to run from 9am – 7pm. An hourly rate applies to cover any additional preparation time or time after 7pm on the day of the mediation.

There is no separate charge for administration of the process which includes time spent liaising between the parties to fix a suitable date and arranging the mediation venue. Travel time to/from mediations in Newcastle-upon-Tyne or London is not charged. Travel/accommodation expenses are charged at cost.
